Re: Printed pants by Susan Graver

I love patterned bottoms with a solid top! I think it is a great look if the bottom print isn't TOO wild and gaudy. I like these but I don't like her fabrics, so I won't be buying probably.

Jackie looked nice in the black and white print with a black top.

Guess I want something close to what Linea has, but a smaller print. Coldwater Creek has some, but I want to be able to return if they don't fit. Maybe Talbots have what I want - they just cost much more!

JJill has some great printed pants. I got a cotton rich pair of muted brown paisley from the outlet on their webpage for just $12.

Check them out...I think they are having a special 30% off everything on sale right now.

Re: Printed pants by Susan Graver

I like the idea of some of the printed pants I've seen this year, but I think tropical florals or just more summery in nature. Isaac had a pair of wide leg in a dark blue tropical looking print earlier this year. Wish I would have tried them when I first saw them. I have to agree with others. This is not a good cut for the liquid knit fabric and the prints are lacking. The pants should have been more flowy(these actually appear to cling to top of thigh) as they definitely do make even the models legs look heavier. I hate to think what my 50+ thighs would look like.

The animal print is downright scary. The dots seem okay. I don't like crop length. On me they look like high water pants. If I get the petite they are too short in the rise.

Here are the cotton ankle pants I got from the JJill outlet. They are currently $20 (after 30% off special on now). They were just $12 when I got them....great reviews too. There are more summery fabrics as well.

The tropical prints are more summery, but I live in NYC and the darker prints SG is showing are better for me here. If I lived in FL, I'd look for a more summery, casual print.

Check the measurements ... for my size, the cut is roomy at the thigh.

Jackie just modeled the black/white horizontal pants w/ a tank and jacket and she looked 10 pounds lighter.

Re: Printed pants by Susan Graver

Nope, they're not for me. I don't think the liquid knit pants would be comfy here in South Louisiana in the summer. And honestly I don't like the look. Maybe some would be cute, but the prints I saw just weren't appealing for this time of year. Why not some spring or summer looking prints? These look like fall/winter.
