And as prices climb, I buy less.  Everything I see has increased about $20, even items they've had in their stock forever.  No wonder business is down.

I bought two pairs of Denim and Co. beach pants a few years ago.  My husband thought they were the dumbest looking pair of pants.  They fit fine, just not his taste I guess.  Can't remember the last time I put them on.

Why can't they make these pants in a solid color. Looking at price per wear, it's not worth it.

There was essentially no cotton harvested in 2022 in one of the largest cotton producing areas of the country. The harvest was 5% of a normal year. The drought was the culprit. Some farmers have chosen to skip a crop in 2023 because the drought conditions and cost of putting a crop into the fields make the financial risk too great. They will be planting other crops instead.

Are they these 56% cotton/38% rayon/6% spandex ones?

600+ shoppers!  But I would just pass.  Elastic bunchy waistband.

That is actually low for pants in QVC these days, but with the materials, not good for pants.

I saw these tiny shorts (3" inseam) in my Denim and Co beach pant search that had a $52 QVC price, on sale for $47.  "Quick Dry Shorts with Attached Brief". A590009.  Poly span.  Not buying those either.

@NYCLatinaMe The impacted area is a section of West Texas referred to as the South Plains. The majority of the cotton crop was abandoned in the fields meaning it was not harvested. The farmers shredded the plants. The small percentage that was harvested produced fewer bales per acre resulting in a harvest of about 5% of the typical one.

@tervuren Yes, really.  I think it's a fair price but if you don't then leave it alone.
