@AussieLuvr That's very interesting. You and I would get along fine as we share a love of horses and Aussies. They are my favorite dog breed, although I've had some problems with them being dog aggressive. I've had to give up my big dogs and now have a mini American Shepherd and he's a handful.

I have a female now who does NOT like other females. She is fine around them on a leash and in crowded or busy environments. But she can't be loose with them. This is the first one I've had like this and I've had them for my entire life.
I got her as a retired agility GC from her breeder about four months ago (she is seven). I've known her breeder for more than twenty years and all of her dogs are shown but live regular lives at home. There doesn't seem to be any reason for it. Our guesstimate is that she struggled to keep order in her perceived pack order since she lived in a house with five to seven dogs at a time. Now she is here with us with no other pets and she is SO happy and content. Sometimes I wish it was different, as we have to avoid visitors with female dogs unless one of them is crated.
Mini Americans are beautiful! You are the first person I've met who referred to them correctly and didn't insist they have a mini Aussie, lol. They basically ARE mini Aussies but such a fuss has been made over the breed and size distinction!
I miss having horses but I wouldn't be able to get on anymore, so no sense in having one as a "pet", lol.

@AussieLuvr. My current mini boy is a resource guarder and I am his favorite resource. I recently had to rehome a sweet sheltie boy because the mini was attacking him and making his life miserable. I wouldn't have believed the things he did if I hadn't seen them. He gets along fine with my female but she was here first and let him know since Day One that she was in charge.

Kate will be Queen one day. Who knows where Meg will be? She still needs to learn how to behave like a Royal. Clean hair and no shorty short dresses like we saw in New Zealand.
Comments like these are so nasty and uncalled for. What makes you the judge of her hair? Have you seen pictures of Kate wearing very short dresses? I have and so what? Why don't you give Meghan a chance? What has she ever done to engender such spiteful comments?

Kate looks lovely in her outfit. She rarely gets it wrong.

Lol, I feel the opposite. For the most part, I like Kate's style. Meghan, on the other hand, seems to wear too many dark and drab colors for my taste.

@AussieLuvr Thank you for sharing, not only the experience, but the photo. Good for you! A part of the royal equestrian history.

I think Kate always looks lovely. I don't compare Kate & Meghan since they are two different people with two entirely different roles, one has been at this "royal thing" for a while and the other just learning.

Kate has style, she knows what to wear ,where ever she is appearing.
