Telling us about sizing. Heres the thing these jeans will not make you look like a smaller size,no matter what is said. Be the size you are and like yourself.

@Group 5 minus 1 I don't think it's about making you look a different size, it's about fitting you properly. I don't buy a lot of NYDJ jeans but I definitely have to size down to a 0 from a normal 2.

I have never bought any brand of jeans that said to size down---but.....then I did try DG2 jeans and sized down---they did fit but were so form fitting that every bump and lump was accentuated---not a good look on me or any of the other models of any size, IMO. I am a solid 12---not a 10 or a 14--have been a 10 before which I liked, but the 12 is me. Have since decided that I will go back to the stores, in person, to try on jeans.

I don't know what that means. It's about getting the proper FIT. It's not about ego.

@Group 5 minus 1 I bought my first pair of NYDJ Maryland style jeans from Nordstrom, could have been their initial year in business. To this day, I prefer that style above all the rest NYDJ offers. As I did when I bought the first pair, I frequently size down from what I expected to fit when I came into the store. I love denim but it's also one of the things I try to buy locally.
Chico's sales people often recommend sizing down for their jeans, so that's another source where I take more than one size to try.
I actually considered ordering today's NYDJ offering, but I need to try on the pair I bought last year. I seem to remember the waist and derriere had gotten annoyingly saggy.

I size down as advised on a pair of NYDJ jeans a few years ago and couldn't get the darn things on. Never tried them again. Some of the models who say they sized down look like stuffed sausages.

@Group 5 minus 1 yes, in NYDJ I have to wear a zero. I'm a size 2. I wear a 2 in CCB, Susan Graver. Im also a 2 in BM stores, Gap, Banana Republic and Nordstrom

I often think that the NYDJ guy just likes snapping the model's pants!
