It was like that yesterday, she made comments that (I felt put him on the spot) in a cutesy flirty way, just not nice and unnecessary.
Someone needs to correct her, and despite the comments upthread I didn't see the fun.

It was the "Albany Show." I can't blame her the merchandise was so icky. Gary's prints? Gary's heavy looking, old looking stuff. Gary tried to talk about the product, and he had to even tell about Top Rating and ask bout fabric. Albany was just useless, except for colors. There was not anything good about today's show.

Surprised to see these comments, and from what I've watched so far of the shows from the last two days (I tape and listen while I get ready for the day), I don't sense any tension or awkwardness. Gary and Albany are frequently paired together and generally have fun, entertaining shows. They obviously like each other and carry on a playful banter with lots of kidding. Then again, I enjoy Albany most of the time (many obviously don't like her in general) and think Gary adds a nice element to the shows on which he appears (there used to be lots of comments about how he didn't add anything and why did he have to be there). I won't repeat my more detailed comments AGAIN about how plenty of summer merchandise has been offered on the Q over the last few months . . .

I've seen Gary and Albany on several times together and they seemed to like working with each other. I think Albany tries to be funny and it doesn't always come across that way. I like her most of the time.

I watched a few minutes of the program with Albany and Gary. I thought they were just kidding around. I think she appeals to a different customer and which may be good for D&C (plus she looks better than the models in the clothes). I never would have purchased that starred shirt until I saw it on her.

I have watched Albany and Gary at other times and thought they enjoyed each other.
But today was different; there was obvious tension. I observed the comments and mannerisms each of you described and it was not pretty.

Changed the channel; I can't take more than five minutes of her.

I saw some of the show, and I saw the very end. I'm with those who think they're joking around and enjoying each other's company. IMO it doesn't take anything away from the way they sell the clothes and talk about the items.
At the end of the show they gave each other quite a bear hug. Albany seems like the type who hugs a lot (I'm one of those too). IF there was any tension at all between the two of them, I think their hug would have been brief and forced! ![]()
