I have nothing against horizontal stripes but in this case I think it fights the vertical pleats.

I'd much prefer vertical stripes with the pleating but regardless that big black waistband kills it for me....

I don't care for the horizontal stripes ... but I do like the wide leg pleated pants.  I think it was SG ... several years ago had some solid color knife pleat wide leg pants.  I have a black pair around here someplace.

I think they look like "clown" pants! I don't get Logo either, unless you are a kid...all the color blocking, sagging pockets, ruffles around the part of the body that doesn't need ruffles...I could go on and on...also, the prices! I can get the same fabric, and a nicely tailored piece at TJ's for a fraction of the price.
