Please, no more spandex in clothes!

I am watching Denim & Co. I see a few things I like, but they all have spandex. I am hoping someone will make tops, pants, jeans, etc. without any spandex/lycra in them. After awhile, the spandex starts stretching and the clothes get baggy and look horrible. I don't know who started this trend, but I wish they would stop. I like to buy classic clothes and keep them for several years. I can't afford to buy a new wardrobe every couple years because the spandex is starting to rot.

Please bring back 100% thick, QUALITY cotton!

Could not agree more. Hate spandex. Hot and doesn;t let fabric breathe.

I like some stretch in my clothing and I've had no problem with it "stretching out".  I don't use very high heat in my dryer, which is what damages Spandex.  I've got pieces I've been wearing for years.

@Kachina624     Yup.....and it doesn't "stretch out" if you are wearing the right size.....

I like a little spandex as 100% cotton shrinks & loses its shape.

My favorite shirts are from Duluth Trading's No Yank line.

They have 5-8% spandex and they give the shirt a nice fit without being tight.

Best shirts I've ever owned.

I personally prefer a little spandex in my cotton clothing, It helps a nice, snug, body skimming fit be more comfortable and keeps the clothes from sagging and bagging.

I really like some spandex in clothing - especially jeans and none I have ever get baggy.  If you get a size too big in jeans it will look like it is stretched out and they should fit very snug against your skin.

I’m too old and fat to wear anything that doesn’t stretch.
