There's nothing I hate more than having to cut out a Thick tag with metallic stitching on it and I sometimes ruin the garment in the process . Designers please go tagless when you can . It doesn't make the garment worth more to me to have a fancy tag.

I cut 'em all out scratch my neck. Men don't have to put up with that , but, we do , of course.

Some tags are easier to wear, softer. And you are right some are down right uncomfortable. HOWEVER THERE IS ANOTHER SIDE TO THIS. Often I look at a garment in the closet and wonder where it came from or who made it. I often am in the need to match it or coordinate it or buy more. I really want to know information about it and if the tags are gone... all bets are off.

The metallic thread and stiff tags are the worst for me. It feels like a razor blade cutting into my neck at times. Ugggh!

are noI toggle between sizes so I tend to keep the tags on, that way I have the item number if I want to reorder in another size. Most tees and knit tops are tagless now and the tags are not really irritating like they were years ago.

I have a bunch of T-shirts from The Tog Shop and LL Bean and Land's End that are tagless. Size, fabric, etc. are printed on the inside back where a tag would normally be. The ones from LL Bean even having the washing instructions and what I'm guessing is the Item # printed on. Only info not on them is the color name. So much better that way.

Tagless is one of the first features that a host will point out when showing a garment, and then, they comment on how much more expensive it is to manufacture a garment that is tagless. I have never heard them explain why it's more expensive.

I have found the older I get, a tag of any kind just drives me crazy. I wear tops I've had for years and those tags in the past didn't bother me and now they do, wierd. Even if they are down by the waist line or hip line.
I just cut the tag out of my husband's shirt on Thursday, before he went to work. So some manufacturers do have tags in menswear also, albiet not many.

I don't like tags at the neckline either. I prefer them to be sewed in the side seam near the bottom of the garment.
i really hate when the size is printed on an outer garment you might remove... Like a jacket. I don't want to advertise my size to all whom any see it hanging on the back of a chair etc.

Love tagless, mainly because I very often wear the back of the top at my front. Just for a different, higher neckline. Very versatile.
