Hello ladies I am hoping to find some wedge shoes for the season....I have back issues so I tend to stay away from high heels now...but some of the wedges I see have a platform that seem to make the incline much less. I tried recently a pair from Earth brand which I liked the bottom but the straps on the foot didn't hold my foot in them securly...much too loose and going down a half size wouldn't have helped with this issue.

Any suggestions??

I like Sanita. Here is an example of one of their styles. They aren't cheap- expect to pay $100 or more.

I'm a Baby Boomer and, going back decades, I still haven't found a wedge that was comfortable ..... recently .... or the last two times wedge shoes were "in".

I saw a gal in the grocery store yesterday walking in wedge shoes that were strapped to her feet like they were big inflexible bricks .... very uncomfortable looking and heaven forbid she had to run for a bus .... or run from a purse snatcher!

ohh I like that 1st one alot! the shoes I just sent back were just over $100 so these are in the ball park....I need good support with some height so I don't feel like I have flats on LOL! But comfort is so critical for me now.

I'm partial to Aerosoles. That's my go-to brand - and I have one of their stores nearby.

My go to brand is aerosols. I only wear aerosols they are very comfortable and I order from QVC and from their website. I find them more comfortable than clarks.

Me too. Aerosoles. I have one pair that's fairly high and they're very comfortable. Of course they have all different heights available. I like that they have fashionable comfortable shoes. I did order some Sanita shoes last week from ShopHQ, closed toe though, black and white patent leather houndstooth. Lola says it's a great brand. Tracking says the UPS trailer was delayed somewhere, ha, ha, what's new.

I have many orthopedic issues and , for me, only RYKA and Clarks will do. I have one pair of orthoheel thong sandals and I shuffle when I wear them. Am I aware that both Ryka and Clarks shoes are not the prettiest - of course. But I feel the way I look shuffling around in shoes that are not giving me proper support is much less attractive than wearing unattractive shoes.I say we should all wear what we NEED to wear so we can walk straight and tall and comfortably - then worry about how pretty they are secondarily.
