Personally - I would never wear brown shoes with anything navy. I'm more of a black/navy person - going all the way back to elementary school when we had to wear black shoes with our navy uniforms.

I think a nude beige would look better w/Navy. Any other color but chocolate brown.

I do not wear a lot of navy but do have a skirt that is a print of brown and navy. I wear brown shoes or boots with it as I do not like the look of navy footwear.

No black and navy together for me. I would do a navy but brown would go depending on the brown. I would probably do a red before a brown too. Green would be an option too. I think brown goes with a lot more than people realize.

I would only do that if I had scarf or jacket that tied the navy and brown together. On their navy and brown don't coordinate. I bought a pair of pointy toe patent kitten heels in chocolate brown. They arrived yesterday. So I've been thinking about how to wear them. Navy....not an option.

I'd only wear brown pumps with navy if I had a jacket,scarf, or accessories that had brown & navy in them. If that wasn't the case, I'd wear nude shoes, black, red or some coordinating color that would add a "pop" of color to the outfit.
