Not a fan of pink, houndstooth plaid or anything that wraps and has a belt.

 

Looks more like a jacket than a "coat."

it looks pretty on her, but i think that it would be uncomfortable and also it's too short.

Is it coat or is it a blazer?  If it's a coat, no.  I don't like those hip short trench coat jackets. The print and color are nice but I'd probably only want to wear it a season or two.
