Today’s email from Chico’s highlights the “colors of the moment.” Pink and Orange.

I have a few “hot” orange things and definitely going to add some “hot” pink! I only have one pink top - a top from Bob Mackie.

@ALRATIBA   I love using those colors when I paint, but don't wear them.

I like and wear orange. I have 2 solid orange tops that look great with dark wash jeans. I also have a few printed tops with orange in them. I don’t wear pink shades except for a few printed tops I own that have pink in them.

I ordered the denim and co beach pants that were a recent TSV in the pink/orange python print.  Plan on wearing them with a fuschia pink top.   We will see...

@ALRATIBA  You can also add a soft baby pink with orange or a medium pink.  I have seen outfits with these combos in the past.  Very lively and pretty.

@Katcat1

I have some pale pink polo shirts and t-shirts that I hadn’t considered! Glad you mentioned! Thanks!

(Recently ordered some pastel tees from Hanes for casual.)

One of my all time favorite outfits was an orange and pink tweed suit that I bought in 1966.  It also came in turquoise and chartreuse tweed (I had a hard choice picking).

This reminds me of a turquoise and bright yellow sateen coat I bought from Louis Del Olio years ago.  It always made me a bit uncomfortable to wear it, but I've never gotten rid of it.

The good folks at Dunkin Donuts will be happy to hear Chicos' news.

@depglass

I know the feeling .... I've been there myself with some of the "colorful" things I've made and things I've bought.  I got over it.

Just wear it - you'll get over the uncomfortable feeling.  Don't worry about what other people think.
