Re: PeaceLoveWorld and Belle quality

I have nothing from PLW, not sure why other than I seldom catch their things on the air. For Belle, I used to love her things, have a few pair of slacks from her that I wear often but the tops are a huge disappointment. Poorly made, cheap fabrication, every top I have bought has been returned.

I'm rarely disappointed with anything I buy from either brand.

I own tons of PLW. The quality and craftsmanship are wonderful and I love the fabrics which are usually rich with natural fibers. I've never purchased any Belle, not my style.

Have about 10 PLW items...much higher quality than most sold on QVC.  I'm very selective, though.  Only cotton or mostly cotton, no noticeable printing on anything.

Don't care for all her styles, but am very happy with what I did buy.

Kim...purchased one of her star cardigans only to find the white stars were sewn on to the sweater instead of knitted into the sweater.  It came with a large white snag that stretched over the black knit.  The main knit of the sweater is rather thin, so it could easily get snags, too.  Easier to pull through than the stars.

Returned, decided to keep the reorder since I saw no flaws.  It's a beautiful sweater on first sight, but, because of this quality, it was my first Kim purchase and my last.

Re: PeaceLoveWorld and Belle quality

I've purchased from both.  Completely different styles and fabrics.

I love PLW 80/20 cotton blend sweats!  They are super soft and launder well.  I own joggers, sweatshirts and hoodies in this fabric.

I like Belle ponte pants - though not the slim style - and only when offered in tall inseam.

I also have a few of her sweaters - which I find to be of good quality - and cute.  Own two of her poncho tops, as well.  One is of exceptional quality - the other has hem sewing that leaves something to be desired.

I have something to say about this but I'm not sure exactly WHAT‼️LOL

I went thru a stage for two years where I knew exactly which size/style to purchase from Candace Cameron Bure.

Then her line left the Q.

I was sitting around twiddling my thumbs and all of a sudden...there was Beach Belle color crush gauze! And this group fits my lifestyle...which is RETIRED!

So I began watching Kim Gravel

Both Kim and the vendor for PLW give me the impression that they CARE a lot and put their best into choosing the fabrics and styles for their lines.

Everything I have ever purchased from PLW (including a canvas tote and various Christmas ornaments and home decor) is very high quality!

So what causes the KG line to be so expensive? I agree that at first I was taken aback! But she offers lots of style choices and colors. For my own opinion, Kim hits the nail on the head for adaptability into my lifestyle wardrobe needs. Without always resorting to offering TUNICS which have never worked for me.

Love KG line & have purchased tops, jeans & a sweater. No problems at all. PLW - I have a couple of gauze tops & they are nice. I don’t care for writing or sentiments on my clothing so I don’t order too much from her line.

I don't think her stuff is expensive.  My size often sells out in the Gravel line quickly so if there's something I like, I don't wait for a sale.  Also, I'm not retired.  I dress up for work and probably spend more on my wardrobe than people who do not.

@LTT1 There is definitely something to be said for consistent sizing and being able to order with confidence.😉
