I have a few Vera Bradley purses with printed fabric but prefer solid colors so I don't wear thm often.  I wish Vera Bradley offered more solid  colored purses in a varietiy of colors. I love the line because I can't carry a heavy purse and also because they wear so well.  Would love to see one in navy.

I used a VB small print bag w/matching wallet all summer and I really didn't care if it was coordinated with my clothing or not.  I'm not that neurotic.  Btw, the ladies loved my bag/wallet coordination all summer when comments were made.

@Deeze : I love bags that have the same characteristics you described; check out Keep or read.  They're even lighter than Vera Bradley and some come in solids; additionally, they are practically indestructible.  I usually buy mine, used, on EBay.  They are usually made of rip stop nylon.
