Carolyn looked horrible, I don't know what she was thinking wearing those jeans.

I thought she looked fine—better than Jen's outfit with the patched jeans. 🤷🏻‍♀️ She was probably thinking that she liked them and didn't care if random viewers didn't.

@amyb  - I hope they work and would love to read a review from you.  You and I both described them as fun and they will be cute to wear in the spring/summertime.  Glad you decided to take the plunge!

So...these arrived today.

On the fence about keeping, as my mom used to say "ya gotta love it." On that front I only just tried them on and will still style them a few ways then decide.

Sizing is pretty true to size. I wear a size 4 jeans currently and these in 4 fit just true to size. There is a lot of easy stretch to them, and it's a fairly wide straight bf leg, so I feel if I wanted a sleeker look I might have fit the size 2.

My weight fluctuates up and down, so if I were to lose the goal of 10-12 lbs, these will be slouchy and 2 would be better. I'm buying for the body I have now, but since I really have the goal for this summer, not sure that will work for these spring/summer pants. Also...many reviews on Q talk about a low rise...they are fine, sit right at "the natural waist" on me, right at my belly button. Nothing hanging over! Fits well in the waist. No gapping.

Very nice denim. Very Soft. Very comfortable.

Well made. The patches.....I'm pondering how I feel in them. I'd wear these just beachy, funky, casual only, which I knew before buying.

The thing is, I really wanted the rolled up, mid calf look with a high platform sandal. But on me, and them being a wider leg all the way down...I just think they're a bit wide and fall in a not flattering spot on my leg for that look. They look better all the way down and that's not really what I wanted. I have several JAG BF jeans I wear rolled up and the leg is not so baggy and boxy and looks cute that way.

Bottom line: Nice soft denim. Fit is true to size.

Patchwork is nice if you don't "hate patchwork!"

Leg is a widish, straightdown look, not tapered at all. I think for me that is the least flattering thing about them.

At only 5'1.5"...mid calf looks look best a bit sleeker tapered on me. But I'll work with these...if it's too hard and I'm still iffy, I'll just return them. That dang $6.95 return bugs me, but I took the chance so that's on me.

Hope that gives you an idea!

I love the look for casual wear.  My 14 year old niece wears them.

I keep fogetting to order iron-on patches from Amazon.

Now, my friend (who has a subscription/membership or tells me to find them at WalMart, and my friend will order them for me.

I have several original waist types of jeans that are very comfortable, and I'd love to add  iron-on patches, just for fun, something 'different'.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
