Re: Patch look jeans in general

Forgive me if I'm wrong......I believe this TSV are shadow patches.

Done with dyes.

I had been under the impression that they were actual patches, but finally became aware that they aren't.

Anyway, I posted my opinion/thoughts in the TSV section.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I actually love these!  Something fun to wear on the weekends. I also love the fit and comfort of the LOGO jeans.

It was unique back in the late '60s, early 70's.  I patched a pair with some brocade and velvet.

@Goodie2shoes  It's just more criticism & negativity.

I really liked the LOGO jacket she had on today with the buttons. (a positive post)

If I wasn't fond of the jacket, I wouldn't post about it or risk hurting the feelings of those that bought it. - their feelings (empathy?) & the mood of the boards are more important to me than sharing a negative opinion.

Just because I can, doesn't mean I should.

I value when posters share things they've seen either on the Q or someplace else that they've liked. As I stated, I find no value in negativity.

Re: Patch look jeans in general

As I have said before when we are discussing jeans, I am one of the few people who do not wear jeans.  I can understand their popularity tho as they make dressing easy and people say they are comfortable. Personally, I have never found them to be comfortable but evidently they are.

As far as patched, holey, distressed jeans I can even see how they came to be popular as everyone can't wear the same basic jean.  We have to express our individuality.  As to the TSV if I were a jeans person, I would not be purchasing these.  They seem to be nothing special.  But I also would not be purchasing holey shredded jeans, definitely not my style.

Clearly, there is something for everyone. Who am I to say QVC shouldn't carry them? 🤐 Variety is the spice of life...

Re: Patch look jeans in general

So I walked into Walmart today and passed the clothing facing the registers. Facing the front aisle were jeans with the shadow patch designs. I suspect they also feel there's a market for this style or they never would have ordered them.

These special value jeans look so QVC safe, mature looking jeans. Not for me.

@ID2 QVC safe is right. Although reading these comments they are still too edgy for the sensibilities of many on this board.🙄

Re: Patch look jeans in general

I didn't read the other posts yet, but to me the TSV looks like clown pants. I haven't seen anyone wearing anything like this.  They keep calling them gorgeous!  What is gorgeous about them?
