There are so many shades of brown. My favorites are soft light white beige shades.
And and a pretty cognac tan of course. There is a plethora of shades for sure to be had in this color family.

Back in 1999-2000, a lot of model homes had dark beige as their wall color in most/all of the rooms where I lived on the west coast. I wasn't fond of it then. It may be interesting to see how the color is incorporated this time around ... tile? counters? cupboards? paint? flooring?
Lots of tired, worn mocha brown leather sofas come to mind and that darn granite that everybody had in the early 2000s and what about the heavy draperies with the passementerie tiebacks. I think I will pass on this color forever. No more brown tile floors and brown shag carpet. It's not 1960 all over again, or is it? We might need some large orange and yellow flowers on the brown wallpaper in the bathroom.

It was overkill and hopefully it is now over not that I like this mocha but love soft calming shades of beige.
Handbag ladies, this means the hardware will go back to shades of gold including jewelry.
There is a theory that when gray is the color of choice for all home decor that the country is trending Communist. I wonder what the country is trending when it's mocha brown.

I hate to even think about that. Several of them froze to death because there was no help for them early enough and the help that was there had no way of communication.

Looks like the color the workers at the local zoo wear. It's not an attractive color..

@MorningLover Thanks for posting these pictures. I guess they come from Instyle's rditorial judgment.
The first model, however, is not wearing mocha mousse, and she looks gorgeous. Perhaps her beatiful skin tone is in the mocha mousse family. The second dress, the mocha mouse is just the backgound. The turquoise pattern is beautiful.
The coats are OK, but not a flattering color.
Instyle also posted the dress below, but I think this is a brighter color than their mocha mousse, and it's not bad. I do like some shades of brown. The pantone choice IMO is only good for accents, or accessories, like shoes, handbags, hose.

I would definitely wear this as an eyeshadow color 🙂.
