Why oh why do they have models in under garments ,we all know what bras and panties look like on ourselves. Like this morning watching Leah presenting the Jockey briefs or the  French cut with  model Taylor wearing them . Saw after showing Taylor in them the camera did not go back to her as much as if there was a slimmer model, think some models  (even myself)  look better not showing everything .

Because we come in different sizes.

I'm not a prude. I much prefer seeing bras and panties on. If I'm looking at these items on Amazon, I always look at the photos and videos that women put on of them in these pieces. It really helps to see real women in clothes.

Re: Panties/bras

[ Edited ]

Holding up a floppy bra or on a plastic perfect shaped model does not show anyone how it fits.  I find bra hunting whether in person at a store or online is a frustrating chore and the more help I get the better.  Breasts come in all different shapes and sizes.

I feel as though all the bra and panty models get the same amount of camera time.

Bikini and 2 piece swim suits show less at times.

Easy for me.

I have no issues fitting either bras or panties.

As long as they are both flesh color and the price is right ...  I just order them from Amazon.

I don't think it helps or hurts when there is a model in panties and bras.

We're all built differently.  No model on QVC is built like me.  I bought a few bras from QVC at one time in my usual size and they were uncomfortable and didn't fit well.

I tried the longline panties too...they rolled up on me.  They looked great on the models. On me, not so much.

I know what brand bras and panties fit me well, and I just replace them with the same.  I am happy with my choice and no longer look for anything else.

I know the models sign up to model lingerie and they get paid.  Better them than me.  I would be uncomfortable.

I agree with whomever said you really can't tell alot with those hard plastic mannequins.

I don't even bother with bras on QVC.  I have yet to see an A-cup listed in a presentation.  I'm real particular about mine, but I'm on the hunt again since it seems Maidenform may be discontinuing my style, Comfort Devotion.

Most of the bras I saw recently at Kohls, and they have a fairly large selection compared to other places locally, has way too much push-up padding, especially for us A's.  I guess they assume we want to look larger.  All I want is underwire for the push-up and a little fiberfill to keep anything from showing through lightweight fabrics.  But, I also don't want full coverage.  A T-shirt demi-bra is my favorite.

For a sports-type bra, I prefer the ones that don't have the "modesty" inserts.  They are just a pain to deal with when laundering.  You either have to remove them and then get them back into that tiny hole and move them around to get back in place, or they move around during the wash and you still have to get them back in place.

@Mimi NY

"We already know what bras & panties already look like on ourselves?  Not showing everything?"

Seriously?

I'm not a prude and models are paid to wear clothing, so I find your comments ... odd.

QVC is trying to SELL CLOTHING and viewers should get to see whatever the garment is on REAL PEOPLE.

We need as much information as possible as to how the undies will FIT.

It's not about what we already know.

No different than a model in a swimsuit!  The models are not wearing bikinis and are completely covered.
