I have double piercings & use Blingdots to protect - especially when wearing an earring of this size - no matter the weight. Love BIG, bold styles - My big head on my long neck makes these the perfect scale. Only concern is my long locks will catch - so I'll wear hair in a high ponytail or just up! These are a MUST have!
Now, where's that station necklace? - LDO posted on his blog this a.m. with the Lapis WK sweater - love the layered 'look' of two!
Oh my, the budget is "out the window "for new Spring acquisitions. What a fabulous Spring Collection LDO is bringing us this year!
I'll undoubtedly weaken and get a station necklace, too.

Love the idea of using earrings as a pendant! I have the fish earrings- and may want to do something similar with those. Please share any details on the specifics.
Will do. I am going to look for a bale that will be easy to switch back and forth and not look silly on the earrings. There are shortening bales that have a latch. If I can find one small enough, that's what I'll try first.

do you all think that the station necklace will be more affordable than the shorter necklace? is the shorter necklace the most expensive jewelry piece he has done up until now?

When the gold ball necklace came out several years ago it was close to $100 as I remember.
Louis said there weren't many of these palm frond pieces. I'm sure they are very labor intensive. The originals were from the Anne Klein Couture collection. Not for everyone.

thank you....dont remember the gold ball necklace.
yes, i bet they were labor intensive.....wonder how much they were at the time when he brought them to the anne klein collection?

I have no idea! But Louis's couture pieces on eBay go for hundreds of dollars. You can identify them by the round tag, not the one with the Anne Klein lion tag.

You are so right Barbara. I have several pieces of the real " Anne Klein Couture" jewelry pieces and the metal tag says Couture. If it doesn't have the tag it's not couture. I remember Louis warning us that many pieces on e-bay say couture, but they weren't. Usually the real couture pieces sell for hundreds of dollars as you said. These will definitely be collectors pieces. I just can't get over how horrible these pictures are. That you Louis once again for your terrific sneak peeks.

I also ordered both earrings and hope I can carry off the look. I'm waiting for the long necklace and mulling over whether or not to order the short version. The palm frond is a gorgeous look. I'm unsure about how much use I'll get out of this couture line.
