Can't wait to get the Project Runway All-Stars Q pieces! Clean & graphic. Cool & aloof. My style!

Dimitri won ----- you have got to be kidding!! That ""marijuana"" dress? There was nothing there that an average woman would buy / wear. JMHO

Gf posted the Q versions a while back. Sophisticated and wearable. On my list! Hope Dmitry will stay with Q for a while. Much more wearable than Seth Aaron's clothes.

It is a runway show, not clothes the average women would wear. Many runway styles get adapted for the masses. I was routing for Dimitri and glad he won. Not a fan of Seth Aaron's style.

Dimitri is such a talented designer, can't wait to see his line presented. I just hope that QVC doesn't make him "dumb down" his line, like they have other designers. Meaning, the cheap shapeless polyester clothing that the Q is going for these days....

Did you think the other 2 collections were geared to the average (what ever that means) women?

His items are already on line. I bought the top and the jacket with that neat treatment of the black swirled in. I bought the top in purple and the jacket in the graphite.

On the show, I knew he had won for sure as soon as I saw his line because I had seen what godfreak0 had posted.

I have 3 items from Seth Aaron and I really like them. I just wore the top last week. I wear the jacket a lot. The leggings I don't wear as frequently, but I don't wear any of my leggings frequently. I need them for some specific outfits.

Based on the final runway, I do not think Dimitri deserved to win. Items did not appear to fit well and made me think his win was pre-ordained. I did like some of his other items during the season, so I hope he brings more than the current selection. Regarding that dress, now the leaves on the Q dress he's bringing make sense. But, I wonder who would buy when based off of his runway marijuana dress?

I do not think Dmitri will have a long term relationship with QVC. They said the winner would design for QVC's spring fashion week.

Over the years, there have been many PR designers who have designed collections. (I loved Chloe Dao's and Laura Bennett's designs) No one ever lasts here.

The do not last because they do not have much freedom to design and fabric choices are also determined by the price points. They do their stint for exposure or because they are contracted to and then onward to designing clothes w/ their chosen fabrics and for a select demographic instead of a global one like here on the Q.
