How very, very frustrating, QVC!!! I would buy most of Dimity's fashions in the Q versions, but the inseams AND sleeves are too short!!! The only skirt/dress long enough is sleeveless, which I will not wear. Why didn't you make the clothes of this great designer with lengths that would fit the MODERN customer!!!

I do not think Dmitri will have a long time relationship with QVC. They said the winner would design for QVC's spring fashion week.

Over the years, there have been many PR designers who have designed collections. (I loved Chloe Dao's and Laura Bennett's designs) No one ever lasts here.

True, but Seth Aaron has continued past his small PRA collection. I still miss Chloe - he clothes looked good on me!

I was happy Dmitry won again.

This summer we have a formal event. I would pay mucho $$$$ for the red carpet dress he designed last week.

Lulu's point is that Project Runway designers have been given opportunity to have QVC collections in the past and have ultimately quickly moved on. Chloe Dao was a rare exception because she was around for about three years before leaving (by her choice or QVC's).

Seth has been allowed to expand his collection beyond the initial pieces, but let' see where we're at by this time next year before we put him on the QVC success list.

I can't say I like everything they create, but I do like the concept of QVC giving designers from Project Runway an opportunity to develop collections for the QVC customer. Regardless of how short lived the designer's relationship with QVC may be at least it's Q giving work to real designers, and not another cheesy celebrity (who is famous for doing nothing).
