Well this is simply horrible news & I guess my jean shopping life is about to become worse in the future...if that is even possible.

Ladies, no matter what size you are, if you own a stack of jeans that fit, I envy you. I have ONE pair that ALMOST fits me. I am forced to spend life in either dresses, or in pants/trousers. "Throw on a pair of jeans and a T " does not exist in my world.

I am 5'2" with a 28 in.inseam...waist is 24" and hip is 30"...yeah THIRTY ".You have all looked at enough size charts to be aware that 00S and XXS start with hip at 34". GOOD LUCK finding 000S or XXXS, almost no one has it -EVER.

I have NO hips and NO rear end. My DD lovingly calls me "zero booty" ...as in, you have none. LOL, except it's not so funny, rather frustrating. I have had jeans cinched tight with a belt fall to the floor out of nowhere while wearing them. Happened to me once at work but fortunately I was wearing a long white lab coat at the time. Co-workers were truly entertained, I was mortified.

Have thought about getting bespoke, but that is super expensive, so nope. Have thought about the pre-teen dept. where hip measurements are smaller for less-developed figures...if I could find a 28"inseam there, but I would have to take them into a ladies dressing room - not teen dressing room - to try on without embarassment.

Anyway, it is what it is and so now if low rise makes a comeback I will be purchasing more trousers I guess...

@PatsShoes  You  are so cute and have a great figure! We are both about the same figure wise but I am taller.

I'm just saying on this thread if you have something above 8.5 inches and love the fit then go get another pair or so. Thry went  down to below 7 inches if anyone remembers. I do.

Fashions changes constantly. It's all about the money to keep you spending.  $$$$$ Don't buy into it.  Stay classic and/or what works for your body.

That is what  I do and will continue to do so. Cheers.

Never mind high or low rise, I'd just like to have that BODY! She'd look great in anything!

I'm a middle class woman in her 60s, I truly do not care what celebrities, models and influencers are wearing.  Low rise jeans MIGHT become more popular but every other style of jeans will be available in stores.  No one is going to walk into.a store and suddenly all the jeans come to your hip bones.  It's like with skinny jeans.  It's all about straight, boyfriend and wide leg jeans now but stores are still carrying skinny jeans.

Re: PLEASE BE AWARE - JEANS - HEADS UP

I remember not that long ago when practcially all that was out there in stores were the low jeans.  Misery!  People who had no business at all wearing them were wearing them!  And boy, the stuff you saw!  Yikes!  At that time, I was quite a few years younger and my body was more in shape and I was quite a lot thinner.  I, however, always made sure that I wore longer tops to cover everything!

I have enjoyed the return of the more normal waisted jeans!  I don't wear jeans very often, but it's been nice going into stores and being able to find a variety of ones that are not cut down to there and beyond!

I know trends keep waxing and waning.  They have to because the fashion people have to keep making their money!

And the younger people think --- oh, this is brand new -- when in fact --- the same thing has been around and around and around!

Most women prefer the high rise jeans and or mid rise.  Low rise creates "muffin tops" no matter what your body.  Because by nature, jeans are more form fitting than pants.  So this will happen no matter how flat your tummy is. I'm only 105 lbs (this morning) and I won't wear low rise.  Skinny jeans usually come back in the winter, as you want to show off boots. Even the wide is slowing down with more slim cut jeans coming out.  Boot cut is the only jean I dislike.  I would rather wear flares instead.  My favorite is the cigarette cut (anther word for slim) and straight jeans. And by the way I don't have the booty either.  Women without are the minority.  Most women will have bigger buttocks.  I'm slim hipped and very small bottom. All athletes have prominent buttocks too, men and women. some of these baseball players have huge back porch.

Re: PLEASE BE AWARE - JEANS - HEADS UP

@Pink123   I know everyone has a different body shape and preference .

I could never wear high waisted jeans/pants. I'm short waisted (really "no waisted") with a rather rectanglular shape. High waisted jeans I've tried on I had to go up two sizes to get a fit for my "waist" and then it looked like I was wearing my pants under my arm pits....very weird.

I'm not a low waisted jeans gal. Nice, straight leg mid-rise jean fit me the best and I think is a classic that won't go away anytime soon.

What I find strange about those jeans is the white zipper sown on the outside.  Very strange indeed.

One of my jeans have the zipper exposed.  No flap cover.  It's odd looking.  I got it online and didn't notice till I got it.  I kept it because I liked the cut but I wear a top over it.  So you don't notice it.  QVC is one of the few places that offer jeans without zippers.  That is really odd to me.  They have to have zippers.  I never think of them as real jeans if they are pull up.

Of course we do @Shanus  that's why I'm giving those with long torso's a heads up.  An 11" rise hits me at my waist as I do have a flat tummy, tuck and like to wear different belts.  When a pant hits my "true waist" it gives me a nice curvy figure.

I'm letting those know who have bodies more like I do.

You sound very tiny and so this would not effect you.

For those like me it's very uncomfortable in the crotch too.

I remember jeans not too long ago which was all you could find at bloomingdales, etc that had zippers about 2 and a half inches long.

Enough to cover the butt crack maybe. lol.

If I got through to one or two people here then this thread was worth it.

Ps. for me a hip-hugging rise is about 9" which I enjoy too.  But they will be sparse a few years from now too. Again,m bnot on QVC like @Kachina624  stated.
