I love the higher rise jeans as I am short from waist to shoulder and longer below waist with long legs.
I was thrilled when high rise jeans, let's say from 9 inches and up came into favor.
I recently fell in love with "Mila" from AG. I bought quite a few pairs. And now after vacation I will buy more and that will be it for me.
Last week I got an advertisement on a "low rise" jean. Huh? So Soon? I was shocked and started doing my research. There are article's about it in many papers, magazines, etc if you google.
I guess these so called influencer's, model's, celeb's are sporting them.
I did know that low rise jeans were eventually going to make a comback and here we are.
I just wanted to give those who prefer the higher rise to stock up now. I am.
I can't stand low riders. I could wear them but they fit so odd and give a very baggy, saggy butt appearance and they keep falling down. It's like the pockets are hanging way down in the back. OMG.![]()
PS. This is mainly for jean companies outside the Q. I doubt the vendors here will change that much. Maybe some of the younger youth oriented companies but not all.
Here you go:

I only wear the jeans I like, not what someone tells me to wear.

IMO, the low rise jeans with the bejeweled back pockets that were half way down the thigh made everyone's backside look bad.
I actually liked low rider running pants the first time around ... but that was 20 years ago. I never liked the low ride jeans on me because it always felt like my tush was flapping in the breeze when I sat down.
I feel the perfect jean/pant for me hits about 1-2 inches below my belly button.

I, too, prefer high waisted jeans and pants.
I need the long length from the waistband to the cr*tch.
Also, my tummy skin, (for whatever reason), has become very sensitive.
Anything rubbing across the tummy results in slight 'hives'. Not teeny tiny hives, and not large hives. I guess slightly smaller than a dime, and more on the surface.
They disappear when the fabric is removed away from my skin.
Anyway, I also love the look and style of high-waisted jeans and pants.
Old Navy and Levi's (among other brands/companies) offer high-waisted options/catagories.

I don't think that version of low riders look too low. I guess in my mind I was envisioning tight hip huggers where you saw the pelvic bone. Now as for the top...that person looks fabulous ... but I could not imagine wearing anything that short.

@Pink123 Thank you for the alert. I like the high rise jeans and trousers the best so I will continue to stock up on them while they are still available. Can't believe they are shifting so quickly away from high rise.
also prefer boot cut. I am very thin and "skinny or jeggings" don't do anything to enhance my silhouette.
I like my wait band at my naural waistiiline and my rise is about 15 inches.
Best,

I like mid-rise, just below my belly button.
Low and high don't work on my frame.

I've also heard low rise jeans and pants will be making a comeback. Not a fan or wearer of that style. I prefer a mid rise, but I do own a few higher rise jeans and trousers.

I'm not a tucker so it would be hard to tell what rise my jeans are.
I do not like low rise. I'm not a fan of rectangle butts.

I think the D&C ladies aren't into that sort of thing.
