On the grey plaid the trim is black. It works and doesn't seem as pronounced in person as the photo may represent.

I'm assuming the trim is black on the blue plaid too. I'll reread the reviews to see if it's otherwise mentioned. Here's the blue ...

The grey IS gorgeous! And the reviews on the blue say the same. All of the comments are five star.

Last I looked, a couple months ago, best price was around $130 for new on ebay, with some sellers willing to take offers. Costco was $92 at that time. Might be different now. But this Costco price is really great.

Are you considering buying?

Thanks for the info! Still wondering though is the trim the same wool type material as the rest of the jacket? Kind of looks like corduroy.

Yes I'm thinking about it for sure I love barn jackets.

The content of the trim is 100% poly. It feels like a substantial cotton blend. The ribbing is sorta kina like corduroy but has a firmer hand. The backside of the pockets and collar is plaid. If you pop the collar that'll be obvious. HTH.

@rochelleS Thank you! I just bought the grey plaid. I love pendleton. I don't care that it is dry clean only. Most of my good coats are. It will be great to layer with sweaters.

FYI I purchased on line and they have all sizes.

How low do your temps drop and for how long? Just curious.

It actually gets quite cold, below freezing every night from now on. However, my outside time is limited to going to and from the car. I pretty much just stay at home and don't go much anymore.

I've done alot of very successful shopping and have been pleased with each purchase. Many name brands with great savings. CS has been incredible as well, assisting in exchanges and even UPS pick up, as I no longer drive.

So I just broke down and ordered the blue (even though it is dry clean only). It was marked as part of a "buy 3 get $10.00 off" so I ordered two more items - one on sale one not and got the additional discount for a total savings of $38,00 on the order. Love Costco! And sorry QVC - even with free shipping and 10% back from Ratuken I could not find one thing I wanted (and I really tried)!

Good for you! I love it when costco offers additional savings

I've often paired the Buy Three and Get $10 Off with the Buy More and Save that can deduct an additional $20 or $50 off depending on the quanity of qualifying items purchased. It's awesome.
