This looks like the pe romper we had to wear in high school. I did NOT look good in that romper, nor would I look good in this denim version.

Ours was dark blue cotton.

We DID NOT have leg elastic.

I think ours was that blue as well. No elastic in legs, thank goodness. Seems like I only had one, worn every school day for an hour for all 3 years of high school. I did not weigh the same at 17 as I weighed at 15. Nor was my chest measurement the same. And we probably don't need to discuss how often it was washed. Lolol.

When the cotton version was retired we had a knit poly sleeveless version with stripes on the top part and solid on the shorts (1 piece). I don't recall any young lady looking good in it

Our stripes were vertical and the top was a light blue with navy stripes
