Yes I have a pair of overalls I got years ago.  I like them very much, especially when we're visiting the mountains.  So for me they are a yes every once in a while.

Wore 'em in the '60s with a flowered scarf tied around my head.

Wore 'em again rollerblading on Venice Beach, CA, in the '80s. 

Three strikes, yer out!

ETA:  Although... now that I think about it..... they would be perfect for pumpkin pickin'.

Love mine! They're actual men's overalls...have a pair of Big Smith and also a pair of Key. Very comfy, and I think they look cute. Don't care if anyone thinks differently. (I don't have great luck with any of the "fashion" overalls, because they are too fitted and also fussy. I like the simplicity of mine.)

So someone in the fashion industry decided that overalls are great - bless their hearts. I say to each her own, but it's a big nay for me. Grandfather wore them everyday working on his farm....they were work clothes. If you love overalls, go for it. I'll pass
