I like #2 ,  and also very much #4.

I don't see anything 'wrong' with this so-called 'trend'.

Not crazy about the first one, though.  A bit 'too much', imo.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Did they have any ideas for pizza & beer???

Or burgers and fries on the grill? Can't imagine wearing a dress when it's 115 outside.

How about Taco Tuesday for two? Like I'm going to wear something like this to stay home and probably spill something on it?

For me - even in "good" times - no.  Smiley Wink

I saw this interesting piece in the WSJ about what people are wearing while entertaining at home.  They claim there is a new trend where the host's clothes match the plates.  Mmm...

This first look is credited to Hill House Home:

From Tory Burch:

My favorite was this from D’Ascoli

I don't entertain much, and won't be wearing any of this, but what do you think?

This is either for the chic that got all that wallpaper and fabric on sale to match and did not know what to do with it or the one who has so much money she wants to brag about it.

Too gimmicky. Do you really want to match your decor??

Matching attire? Guess that leaves me out. I'm lucky if I can get my place settings to match. Oh well, cocktails before dinner and no one notices anyway Woman Wink.

I wonder what will happen to the "stuff" and / or the "designer" when no one buys the stupid idea ???

Kind of fun.  Not one of course.

We do a dinner at church every year and I  decorate a table and I always wear something that compliments my theme.  It is fun.

Can't even imagine trying to match my outfit with plates, that's an alternate universe.
