Had such a sweet afternoon!  A special friend came into the shop and was in love with the collection.  She bought a whole bag full, by which time I was off.  We went three doors down and had icecream cones on the bench under the beautiful blue sky with big white fluffy clouds.  Two small boys with their uncle on the opposite bench were tearing off little pieces of the hamburger they were eating and feeding the tiny sparrows at our family  What a beautiful family, a wonderful friend, and magic for twenty minutes.

(This friend and I reconnected in an unusual way.  We had both worked in bookkeeping for Wachovia Bank in 1970-1974.  I left for college in the fall but would return at Christmas and the summer.

Last year, I was walking into Walmart, and there was a smiling woman waiting for me inside the door!  I knew I "knew her" and couldn't place her but had warm feelings. We ended up having lunch and it was my friend from when I was 18-22!!!  I had ended up teaching both of her children but she never came to school and didn't know my name!).

Well...ummmm...errrr...I figured the stripes went around the sweater, but I was asking about the blue vest!   I can't tell from the pic if the stripes were just a panel on the sides or if it was the whole back.   No more margaritas for you!
