Yes, wish we had the photograph of you wearing this lovely outfit.  I bet the strappy sandals looked even better than OTK boots with this.  Happy New Year.

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

Sunday's Outfit: We only had worship service this morning, no Sunday School, and I wear a choir robe for that, so really no reason to get dressed up.  I went with one more Christmas look.  I kinda wanted to wear the green vest again with the stretch velvet pants but chose a more relaxed whimiscal look instead.

Joseph A gold sparkle T-neck again, very old IVY green peachskin? skirt, a vest cross-stitched by me, and Fergie boots.

I modified the Fergie boots to accomodate my large calf.  They had a zipper just on the upper portion behind the calf.  I had my shoe guy remove the zippers and add eyelets so I could tie them instead.  Closeup of the cross stitch and my boot mod below as well as my makeup for the day.

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

Good Monday Morning!

Buried in about 10 inches of snow and a bit of ice in north central Kentucky. Not going anywhere anytime soon. So far power is still on! Hoping our next door neighbor's tree branches don't come down because they hang over our power line. Frigid temperatures all week so nothing will melt. Schools, businesses, garbage pickup, and government offices all closed.

Hoping Everyone in the path of the storm is safe and warm.

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

We got about 6 inches of snow overnight.  Temps are hovering right around freezing, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.  Kids were sledding down my hill this morning, but then it started getting slushy.

Sunday's outfit:  G by Giuliani stretch microsuede pants, Wonderly booties, Levi turtleneck, and a jacket made by me.  Had to wear a belt to keep the pants from scooching down.

Good afternoon everyone!😊

I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy on this chilly winter day!🥶 I decided to share today in homage to dear ECBG!💝 I believe she would have approved! I wore this outfit to Christmas service at the church. It was BEAUTIFUL❤️, and the singers were absolutely AMAZING!😊 The skirt is ANTTHONY, the coat is a vintage black and brown Iman military style trench, the the handbag is Steve Madden and the boots are Naturalizer! Comfort over beauty!😁

I changed into a red and gold caftan in which to unwind   because it was close to Christmas colors!🤪

I saw your name and there was no picture that I could access a while back.  Today I came here and can see it.  Sometimes my computer acts silly.  You look lovely.

You wear tiered and long skirts very well.  I am assuming  you are tall.  Tall girls can wear more than us short critters.

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

[ Edited ]

This will be my last post for a while. Didn't want to "disappear" and have you wondering what happened.

Unfortunately, both my sisters fell and broke bones. My mother-in-law & sister-in-law are both struggling with health issues too. My husband is taking care of his mom while I am taking care of everyone else and chauffeuring them around because they can't drive with broken bones and poor health. Still taking care of my elderly friend too, because her daughters live out of state.

My own health is failing, but I am doing my best to keep going for others. Recent blood work indicates my liver is not working properly. I'm in some pain and tired. This has happened before, but it's never been this bad. My liver has been compromised for many years due to prescription meds I took for another chronic health issue. Going back to doctor for more tests in between all my caretaker duties. I'm still singing at church for now.

Not sure what will happen next.
Hope to return to posting here in the future.

Best Wishes to All!
