Hmmm...I might need to buy those Sketchers, @wilma

Are they suede?

@tansy

No, they're canvas. Here's the info...

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

[ Edited ]

We attended an evening wedding recently. My husband's best friend from childhood and best man at our wedding had a son get married. It was good to see and talk to friends we hadn't seen in awhile.

Most of the women guests wore dresses. They ranged from casual floral prints to dressier outfits with beading and sparkle. I didn't see any long formal gowns except on the bridal party and on the mothers of the bride and groom. The bridesmaids wore long dresses in the same taupe color but in various styles. The guys wore navy suits.

I wore my navy AK wrap dress. I think it's a bit dressier looking than a print dress for an evening wedding, but it doesn't look too formal. Wearing a sapphire pendant that my husband gave me years ago, a silver and lapis beaded bracelet, and my very old Antonio Melani navy wedge pumps.

Wishing Everyone a Wonderful Week!

Wilma:  Very nice choice of color (navy) for an evening wedding!

Love your 'older' shoes.  They look brand new!

@ROMARY

Thank you for the compliment.

These old shoes are starting to show wear, but you can't really see it. I noticed the liner on top of the footbed is coming loose on one shoe. Maybe they can be repaired?

I really love them with this navy dress and my navy pant in the summer.

Enjoy the Week!

@wilma Don't you hate it when that happens?  I recently noticed a favorite pair of Jessica Simpon red croc pumps are beginning to separate at the side seam.  I have a guy, but I don't think that's something that can be repaired.  I think it's the croc faux leather breaking down.
