Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

[ Edited ]

Hello everybody, so enjoying all your fashions.  You each look lovely, as usual.

@ECBG, I have seen your black very wide leg pants a few times recently and am wondering exactly what they are called.  Sorta remind me of the palazzo pants of yesteryear but with a little more structure.  They certainly do look comfortable and I can even see them dressed up for a more formal event with the proper top.

Take care, all. Smiley Happy

@minkbunny

Many thanks.  Those vpants are so very comfy and don't slide down my hips!  I hope the brand does a straight leg like these.  Some I have touched were a "no"!  Dillards didn't have I C Collections when I was their stylist!Smiley Sad.

@Icegoddess

Thank you for the kind wishes regarding choir. We just had our second rehearsal with our new director, and I like her a lot. So far lots of traditional hymns, but I'm hoping she will be open to upbeat and contemporary music once in awhile.

I'm very impressed that you went 2 years without clothes shopping. Wow! The longest I've probably gone is a few months.

Hope you have a good weekend!

@Icegoddess, I saw those shoes a few weeks ago as the TSV and really wanted the black! I loved the peep toe look and the price was a steal!
I didn't buy them but they look lovely on you and go great with your outfit.
How was the comfort level and are they hard to walk in?

@ECBG Pretty pendant, is it new?
I really like the blue top with the black pants. I have seen you wear those pants before. Are they still available at Dillards? Do you know the brand name? They are super cute! When are you going to start to wear your skirts so you can show off your London Fly shoes?

@Parischic One of the selling point for those shoes was how comfy they were and they don't disappoint.  And they're easy to walk in too.  It's not too high a platform to make them clunky and difficult.  The only con is I feel the gold color is too light and too shiny.  There's not that many things I feel I can wear them with. My favorites were the cork, but I already have a cork sandal with a chunky heel.

@Parischic

Thank you for the compliment.

The pendant is about 10 years old.  The shop is still open, but in place of the beautiful stone pendants, they are using less expensive chains with hand cut wooden charms.

I'll be wearing skirts soon.  It's been a little cool in the mountains in the morning and I am cold natured..

The pants are I C Collections which Dillards didn't sell when I worked there.

Still avalible, these pants are longer on me since I'm 5' 6".  The model was likely 5' 8 or 9"

I got up very early to get ready for our elementary school GS to graduate.  I stayed home for 2 hours and had a dr appt where they took about 6 half bottles and 1 full bottle of blood after the exam, then I picked up my sample contacts.

 I had to quickly get something to eat when I got home since all I had  was the morning's Instant Breakfast.  I had no Idea they were going to draw blood like that!

The receptionists and nurses went nuts about my Fly London shoes.  I had on textured "T" strap wedges.

Sorry I changed without getting a photo!

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

We were very warm here today.  My friends at Myrtle Beach say they wish they had gone later when it was warmer.

Navy and white cotton top, Eileen Fisher linen jacket, John Mark pants with side lattice, pendant, drusy white quartz.  Guild bracelets.

I thought I straightened my belt from Etsy.  Oh well.

@ECBG
Thank you for the info on the pants. How is the sizing. I'm 5'6 and the mediums waist is a 2 inches big but I have big thighs I weigh 150 but it's all hips and rear. What size do you think I should get?
