Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

Sunday's outfit.  We had some late season chilly weather, so I pulled out a sweater.  I believe I bought this from either HSN or QVC years back.  It's Storybook Knits which I think was a competitor to Quacker Factory.  I know sweaters like this are no longer en vogue, but hey, I like it so I wear it.  Kim Rogers navy pants and navy sparkel pumps.

Pretty sweater Ice Goddess.  I have three of the Storybook Knits and cannot bring myself to part with them.  HSN sold them and what I liked is the uniqueness as no one else had anything like them.  I still get compliments when I wear one.  They were expensive back then and I could imagine how much it would be nowadays to manufacture.

We were supposed to get rain at lunchtime from the system coming west to the mountains from the beach.  Totally backwards and odd!

My pink denim jacket and a pink and white plaid cotton shirt.  I had on black linen slacks to wade through the rain that didn't fall.

I hope everyone had a nice day.  We got sun and a med breeze.  I was able to have lunch with a friend who is dealing with her DH's dementia and she lives an hour away.  We don't get to see each other like we used to.

Our lunch was on a side porch at a resturant and the wind kept blowing my hair in my eyes; I guess the product in my hair caused my eye to water and sting; I probably had a mascara crumb under the contact as well!  Ouch!

I'm in a cotton smock neck and 3/4 sleeve cuff cotton top.  Outside, in the shade, I had the denim jacket on.  White denim pants with eyelet bottom.

Today was a sunny 83 degrees; very do-able!  I met a friend for lunch that makes handmade jewelry.

White cotton "window pane' shirt, our light weight blue and white jacket, John Mark blue pants.

@Icegoddess

Nice cardigan. I remember the Storybook Knits brand on HSN. I always thought her sweaters were a bit more boutique looking & labor intensive than Quacker Factory, and a bit more expensive too. I had a few QF pieces, but never bought any Storybook Knits. Regarding sweaters like this being out of style, I agree with you that we should wear what we like. Enjoy wearing your sweater!

Ice Goddess:

Storybook Knits are always 'in style'.

Very classic with an artistic theme.

Love your cardigan / outfit.
