Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

I met a friend at "Juicy Lucy's Bar and Grill" for lunch.  I had never been there and loved the decor but was somewhat chilly.

I was happy to see a location where I could get my Carolina Classic hamburger which has chili and slaw on top! Yum!

I wore our "Barely Boot Cut" jeans with a modified "stove pipe" leg and one of our sweaters.  The jacket is sueded black by Tommy Bahama.

Nice outfit! Love the colors in your top. I always like a good striped top. I also like your jeans and jacket. I have similar pieces in my closet.

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

@ECBGI'm not here often but when I am, I always check to see what the ladies are wearing.  You all have such wonderful style and I get ideas from your pictures and your conversations with each other.

If I'm out of line, I apologize, but ECBG, I've noticed that you've sometimes mentioned how cold you are and I'm the same way...I'm wondering if the doctor has checked your thyroid.  I'm on medication for hypothyroidism and I'm still cold, but thought I would mention it since being cold can be a sign of hypothyroidism.  Fortunately, I've stable on medication for many years.  Be well.

Many thanks.  My dr that retired 2 year a ago had already shrunk a throid nodule which didn't return.   I have never had another thyroid issue.

I have always run cold.

I had on the 'REAL" coat this morning.  I awoke to a whoppin' 43 degrees, below our average winter temp of 50 degrees!.  My phone bumped off of the setting!!!

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

@ECBG pretty colors in the scarf.  It's been particularly cool here too.  I rushed to get plants into the bed of the pickup since the lows were going to get below 45 a couple of nights.  Tonight's low is supposed to be 48 and I've been cold all day even in the house at 70 which is as high as it got.  I keep the thermostat at 75 during the day and lower it to 72 at night in summer.  I'll get the plants out of the truck tomorrow since it's supposed to warm up a bit.

@OCG I'm very cold natured too. Been that way all my life, but I do now have hypothyroidism too.  My feet are cold year-round and I rarely wear sandals.  Usually I wear socks year-round.  I hate it because I always need a sleeve or a topper wherever I go just in case.

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

Sunday's outfit.  Mario Serrani top.  I think I might've gotten it at Costco.  Victoria's Secret pants.  I was going to wear some dark brown pants, but the waist was too loose and would've required a belt which would show underneath the top.  It looked too casual to tuck the shirt in and wear a belt, so I changed my pants.  Faux Snakeskin high heeled sandals.

@SanAntonioGal, I can't seem to tag you, but I thought you would enjoy my sparkly eye shadow.

Love this outfit and the makeup.  Your lipstick is prefect for your coloring.

You might want to pick up one of the invisible belts from amazon I so often wear, just under twenty dollars.  Not a thing shows.
