Thursdays are always College spirit wear days, to promote the idea that we expect that they will attend college.

Fridays are always school spirit- school gear/colors.

These days are for both faculty/students. I am on our AVID site team, so I make a point of wearing college gear on Thursdays. At my previous school it was once a month on the last Friday.

There are spirit weeks (usually for Homecoming/Prom) and sometimes those have different "rules" for dressing up. One day this year was color day, where each class was supposed to wear a color (9th graders wear green, for example). Faculty was supposed to wear tie dye, I suppose to be inclusive of all of the classes.
