Cute outfit @wilma .  I have a Dennis Basso faux suede jacket.  It's a bit heavier than I expected.

Sunday's Outfit:  Fred David shirt (old), Belle by Kim Gravel sparkle jacket (A663031), Marla Wynne pants, Jouree booties.  I got the jacket with a 20% coupon.  The sparkle blazer I felt wasn't full-on Christmas but a nod to the season.  I like sparkle any time though.

Beautiful.  You make those pants and that jacket look good.

Wore this outfit to church...

Adrienne Vittadini zip front sweater jacket & Cyrus pullover sweater - both purchased from TJMaxx recently, Tamaris ankle boots bought from DSW last year, and new Cato trouser.

The pumpkin color pant is way out of my comfort zone. 😱

I've never been a bold color pant or a print pant person. I usually wear a solid neutral like black, navy, or denim on the bottom and a print or bright color on top. So why did I buy these pants? 🤔 I liked the color, and they were only $25. Maybe not the best reasons?

I opted for solid warm ivory pieces since the pant color was a warm bold pumpkin color. Debated wearing my dressy nude wedges, but decided on my camel boots since it was cold. Tried tucking the pullover sweater because it was a bit longer than the jacket, but I liked it out better. Received several compliments on the pant color and the outfit.

I liked the finished look, but I felt a bit "on display" because of the pant color. There were other choir members wearing brighter and bolder outfits. (We don't wear choir robes.) I think the top half of the outfit makes me look a bit wide. All the pieces fit as I like, but layering the sweater jacket over the pullover sweater makes me look a bit broad. I have broad shoulders and sometimes certain pieces make me look like a linebacker for a football team. 🥴

Hope Everyone Has a Wonderful Week!

Sunday's outfit:  Together top, Kim Rogers pants, and no Journee booties.  I can't find a name on them anywhere.  I may have gotten these at Atlanta Market when I used to go, I'm quite fond of this tonal color.  It's like a dull olive?  I have another button-down with a placket that covers the buttons that is the same color.  Just bought a Kim Gravel sparkle buttonless blazer (A663031) in an olive that I'm hoping works with these, and that I didn't get it in too small a size.  I used the 20% off coupon for it this week.

Our lives have been crazy.  I had a bleeding lesion in my throat that I had removed.  DH had RSV and then he burned himself, 2nd degree burns and got infection in some really bad parts and abdomen (he burned himself when he spilled a pot of coffee).  We are doing better today, December 8.  Saw doctor at ER and he felt like his lesions will all be healed up by mid January.  Slow because he is diabetic on chemotherapy.

@NonametodaySorry to hear that.  Sounds like you've been through the wringer.

@wilma .  Love the pants.  The color is great and looks wonderful with the ivory and brown boots.  It's a good look.

I'm in love with the sweater jacket too.  I rarely go to TJ Maxx.  The last time I went there (on a weekend), it was so busy.  I haven't been back since.

My TJMaxx store is crowded most of the time, but it's worth it to me. I've found some really nice things there over the years. There's also a Dollar Tree, Party Outlet, Cato, a consignment shop, and a few other stores in that same strip mall. That parking lot is crazy!

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

Sunday's Outfit:  Joseph A gold turtleneck.  I think I got that at Rue La La last year or year before.  Susan Bristol vest.  It's quite old, but only gets worn at Christmas time so still in good shape.  I remember Susan Bristol being a big brand around here years ago, but I think that vest is the only SB piece I have.  The brand was a bit pricey.  Koret pants.  They're green although they look black in the pic.  These are quite old too and are VERY high waisted, LOL.  I wouldn't want to wear them if my top didn't cover the waist.  I can't remember the name of the fabric, but it has that feel like suede.  This was before all the faux leather/suede things came out.  Betsy Johnson sparkle booties.  Got several comments on those.
