Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

@Nonametoday

Thank you for the well wishes. I am making progress in vocal therapy.

That's interesting that you did theater. I can definitely understand how that could affect a voice over time.

The ENT and vocal therapist asked me if I smoked too, and that was a resounding no. My dad smoked in the house when I was younger, but he quit when I was a senior in high school after his heart attack.

I'm sorry your husband has hearing issues.

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

@ROMARY

Thank you for the info.

My sister has a nodule on one of her vocal cords, but she decided not to remove hers. She's not a singer, but her speaking voice is always a bit raspy.

I don't have any nodules or growths of any kind. I have a lot or inflammation and irritation around the vocal cords. Still not sure of the exact cause, but vocal therapy exercises and treatment with a nebulizer is helping.

Have a Good Day!

@wilma   It is an encouraging and positive sign, that the therapy

               and nebulizer are helping.

                Hopefully it will continue to help and to restore your

              voice.

@Enufstuff

Thank you for your well wishes. My speaking voice is much better. Some days it sounds almost normal. Will start singing exercises with the therapist next.

Have a Good Evening!

Good luck Wilma!

Sunday's Outfit:  Matching top and skirt by Temptaion.  It is quite old.  Wonderly booties.  You can't see it, but I have on a Jay King necklace, one of my few nicer jewelry pieces.

That is a good looking two-piece dress.  Love it.

@Dinocoop  - Sounds like a nice looking outfit.

I own a few Laurie Felt jeans.  I was sorry to see her close up shop.  I always wondered why she didn't sell the business or find someone to takeover the business.

@Icegoddess

Thanks!

My vocal therapist is a singer at another local church so she's been very supportive and understanding. Hope to be back singing sometime later this year.

Have a Great Day!

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

Sunday's outfit:  Together top, Kim Rogers pants, and no Journee booties.  I can't find a name on them anywhere.  I may have gotten these at Atlanta Market when I used to go, I'm quite fond of this tonal color.  It's like a dull olive?  I have another button-down with a placket that covers the buttons that is the same color.  Just bought a Kim Gravel sparkle buttonless blazer (A663031) in an olive that I'm hoping works with these, and that I didn't get it in too small a size.  I used the 20% off coupon for it this week.
