Love this look on you over the very long dusters and scarves that hide your figure. I can finally see what a cute shape you have!  Most ladies would die to have your figure!!!

I think you speak for all of us, @crawford5153

I like that on her and like that she is not trying to hide her legs and hips.  We are talking about you, ECBG.

@Nonametoday

I too am short at 5'2 and I've discovered that I can wear length; just not full length. The trick is not to obscure your legs.
Have you ever noticed how a capri or pedal pusher can make your legs look longer?

@Andreatoo Yes, and I find that if I wear a very long tunic that is color of my pants, i.e., all navy, all black or all ivory --- whatever, it elongates me.  I play Bridge with a very attractive tall banker lady.  One day I wore a very long, airy (looks like silk) tunic in royal blue and matching slacks.  I had not thought about looking taller, just something that I liked.  She saw me on arriving and said "Look at Name.  She has grown 4 inches taller.  What kind of shoes are you wearing?"  One of my short allies said "It's the long tower of color."  So I am trying to take that to heart.

@Nonametoday

The dramatically long tunic can do wonders for you. Meanwhile the one that hits mid thigh generally only serves to make your hips look bigger! LOL

Thank you for your extremely kind comments.  You are more than kind.

There are several things at work here.  The pose certainly makes anyone look smaller.  In most cases I have on dark bottoms.  I have a naturally small waist and have kept it post menopause, however, the women on my mother's side all had fit issues because of their legs.

Last winter was hard in all of us.  I got into making and eating deep dish blueberry pies.  (Sugar creates endorphines).  I gained around 25 pounds from the stress of staying home and not working with color.

I have lost it through the WW thread where we have all held hands.

Thank you again ladies!  Hugs!Smiley Happy

@NYCLatinaMe and Ladies,

I was having a denim jacket moment in the gray day with no sun and rain!  I wore my new sweater, (Love the colors, theyre so happy!) still available from retail, their pink denim jacket, and the Silpada wedding necklace with white moonstone which I found on ebay a number of years ago when I was just learning to use ebay.  White moonstone ring, Etsy, white druzy etsy.

Sweetie, I understand about the endorphins and deep dish pies.  Don't deprive yourself of making them.  Just let me send you some sase boxes and you can pass them along after you sniff and package and place my sase atop it.
