@Andreatoo @Judaline @crawford5153 @wilma

@NYCLatinaMe and Ladies,

I was having a denim jacket moment in the gray day with no sun and rain!  I wore my new sweater, (Love the colors, theyre so happy!) still available from retail, their pink denim jacket, and the Silpada wedding necklace with white moonstone which I found on ebay a number of years ago when I was just learning to use ebay.  White moonstone ring, Etsy, white druzy etsy.

Did you get your blouse yet?? I thought mine was on the way but meanwhile I received an order from the rack that was purchased after that blouse!?

Hi @Andreatoo

Love that FP blouse -- it's such a good fit on you! You have a beautiful figure. In my next life, I want a tiny waist like yours. Smiley Happy

I also haven't received my (two) FP tops. In addition to the "canvas" blouse we both ordered, I ordered the Free People Bunny Funnel Neck Top in Blue Moon Quartz. They were due to arrive yesterday, but are stalled somewhere in Ohio! I hope we get our packages soon.

Went back to buy one in black for my daughter but they're all gone......

Do you have a kerosene heater or camping stove?  We find those invaluable here in the mountains.

@ECBG

We don’t have anything like that. So far we are some of the lucky ones who still have power. It’s still brutally cold here so none of the ice is melting, hence the concern for more trees and power lines to go down even though the storm has passed. No temps above freezing for a week and another winter storm is headed our way Sunday night. Still too early to know if it will be snow or ice. Yuck!

Here’s a photo from a tree in my backyard covered in ice.

My feelings right now...

Our power went off last week for 6 hours and our whole house generator kicked in and ran the house without fail including heat, lights, t.v., computers, two refrigerators, and two freezers plus cooking range.. At first, I argued with hubs about spending that much money to buy one.  Now I am thankful to have one.

@crawford5153

Sounds great. What brand generator do you have?

We don’t have a generator, but DH actually started discussing this possibility the other day. We live with above ground utilities so our wires tend to go down in bad winter & spring storms.

@Judaline

Sorry. My DH doesn’t want me to give my exact location on any social media site. We live in a city on the Ohio River so that narrows it down to a few possibilities.
