So, this is pretty typical of daily wear for me.  A top from Costco, Lee or Levi bootcut jeans, and booties or running shoes.  These are some Sporto booties.  Not particularly flattering, but the only place I have to go today will be a session with my skating coach.  For some reason had a good hair day.  Didn't even need to use a finishing cream.

Off today.  I had a wonderful long lunch with a close friend I hadn't seen since the end of August! (Yummy salmon pattie with cucumber!).  She had to go through her grandson's wedding as well as her DH developing the first stages of Alzheimer's.  She needed a day off definately!  

After lunch we went to Soft Souroundings (and weren't impressed at all), Talbots, Williams Sonoma, and Two On Crescent, the Eileen Fisher store where I found a black knee nlength cape with black fur.  Since I love capes.......(I'm thinking, I'm thinking!)

I wore a remix.

My DIL JUST put this on her FB!!!!  They're trying to build and move into the house after their burn out last January.

So uh, yep, this happened. Yesterday while working on the house basement holding the vacuum while DH used the floor grinder, he hit a patch of concrete that made a washer/bolt fly off and it hit the top of my foot at full velocity.
It’s Fractured. 😩
Several weeks in a boot. Pray I will heal quickly to avoid any surgery.
