Organizing ponte pants...feel like a genius!!

Having been an avid Linea fan/collector/(hoarder??) from day one, I have ended up with probably 15 pair of Linea ponte knit pants....narrow leg, leggings, every color, varied sizes... And get confused when I'm trying to figure out the difference while also trying to get dressed in a reasonable amount of time. So, today went through them all, by item number and my own style system , by leg width, mostly, not color. Took the huggable pant hangers and wrote in sharpie by the handle what style the pants were...narrow, leggings, wider width, etc. so instead of color, I can grab whatever suits me that day, or looks better with my top of choice. The handle area is away from the clothes, and my hands that it doesn't get smeared. This, on rereading, sounds pretty silly.... But it makes my life easier. Just say'n....

Not silly at all. This is a great idea, I do this all the time with pants and your idea is a great time saver. Kudos, Smiley Happy

I think that sounds like a great idea. The weather here has been cold, then back to warm and going to turn cold again so I am halfway between "seasons" clothing wise and I have been trying to figure out how to best organize my collection, too.

Sounds like a good thing to do on a cold/rainy day.

I have a hard time determining if pants are black or navy. I believe someone posted that they mark a ""B"" for Black or ""N"" for navy on one of the inside tags.

Thanks, aNewHue! Sometimes on the boards you never know the reaction...I figured someone would chastise me for having too many pants and suggest I get rid of them ( which may b true!). Although the Linea Ladies are the BEST and this Board is very supportive and kind; we all love our Linea!

Good ideas dodies and Lyn08 ! I'm going to end my ""is this black-or is this Linea navy"" problems RIGHT NOW. Thankfully I don't have that many pants but I do have a prized small collection of Linea ponte pants as well as Linea WK pants. It's the TOPS in WK I have to work hard to keep straight - as to neck line style and sleeve length styles Smiley Wink Thanks for sparking new good ideas.

Also, some the Huggable Hangers Sets come with a hanger that has room for "stacking" multiple pants---so if you have some of those hangers you can hang the crop leggings, the narrow leggings, etc., etc. on a single hanger (I think you can get 5 pants on a single hanger). That's what I did with the couple of multi-hangers that I had. I need some more of those multi-hangers.

That might have been me marking the Navy pants with an N. Unmarked pants are black!

I use the N For navy & B for black, too! Definitely helps when you're trying to get dressed in a hurry.

THANK YOU! I keep looking at them under different lights to see what the heck color they are! I'm an idiot.
