I’m busty, live in Ohio, and wear open front cardigans all the time. Even it has buttons or a zipper, I usually wear it open.

@Kachina624 Agree with your sister, don't care for the long sweater or topper!  QVC is offering millions of them for the fall.

I'll take a woven topper length jacket or coat for the weather, with buttons or zipper.

You know I have open front and button.  I like both.  Here lately they are just showing open front and I was thinking how they are saving themselves money by not needing buttons and more material to over pap for the button holes.  It also is an easier finishing project.

@vivarita

I would suggest a light weight slipover sweater and merino wool scarves which are tissue paper thin.

Talbots clothes last and last according to customers, and they carry quite a few sweaters as well as online coupons.

I would suggest you begin looking for a winter coat for the average temperature in the town/city you will have for a new home.

I am moving to Ohio from Florida  -yes, I know! - and my wardrobe needs to tune into cold weather.  All the open front cardigans are attractive but do not work for full busted women like me.  The garment would hang well away from my bust line.  I'm only commenting because a large percentage of the cardigans I see are open front.  While I realize I am in a small group of your customer base it just seemed like something I should point out.  I am a fan of Susan graver but saw only a tiny few that would work for me.  Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

I just bought a LOGO cardigan (A457352) that can hang open or button on one shoulder and it works for full busted. It is the ribbed cardigan in the LOGO show this afternoon. Good colors too. I bought 2. Hope this works for you. Smiley Happy

When it is chilly enough for a sweater, we usually have a North wind that is cold.  It goes right through a sweater!

I have some of the pima cotton cardigans from Isaac and they work for me or a closed fabric jacket.  JMO!

Welcome to Florida!  Enjoy!

I don’t care for open front cardigans at all. I feel like I’m always trying to rearrange and Straighten them while I’m wearing them. I donated the two that I bought

@vivarita , not sure where you are moving to in Ohio but welcome!  I'm up in north central Ohio on the lake.

There was a time when I detested open front styles of anything and now I wear them all the time.  I'm not busty but I am a pear shape.  I do sometimes go up a size so it's roomier and doesn't look too small through the butt/hip area.

I live right across the river from Ohio. may I suggest a winter coat, It's either hot or cold, very little time for a cardigan.
