Amy did it again! Last night on HSN Amy was presenting Iman's pants. They are priced at $39.95, $5.00 off any second pair. So the second pair is $34.95. Simple arithmetic. But noooooo. Within the first 20 minutes of the show, Amy said the second pair would be $35.95. She said it six times. Can't believe no one corrected her in her ear.

Just as bad as the thread about Shawn saying the fabric content of a piece of clothing wrong.

All the hosts should be more prepared for their shows and have all this information written down on their cards.

QVC's Amy doesn't present on HSN and doesn't present Iman.

I don't care about the host's math as long as the company's computers get my price right - although it would be nice is they could do simple subtraction.

BTW- this is not a new problem. As long ago as the 1970's, I worked in a real estate office with a saleswoman who couldn't take 10% of a number without her calculator! Still, she was often the top seller in our busy office - so much for the need for basic skills.

So the host couldn't do math? It's not like she was saying the price was lower than it actually was. This sounds like a minor discretion to me.

I think HSN must be losing viewers/customers and they are sending shills over here. There's been a bunch of them lately.
