Re: One WHOLE day of Martha Stewart

When my children were little we taught them "Thumper's Rule" from the movie "Bambi". I think the sentiment applies in this case.... "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"

Your statement was more like Clairee from "Steel Magnolias" who famously said "If you can't say something nice, come sit by me!"

I bought a pair of her wide leg pants as a change from Skinny Leg Jeans and Boot Cut. They are so comfortable and fit great. I now remember the comfort of that style.!

I have found that she is a vendor that really knows and obviously you can tell she actually uses her products and they always are excelllent quality too....  A lot better than some of the other Q vendors and the products they offer--

Animals are reliable, full of love, true in their affections, grateful. Difficult standards for people to live up to.”

Reading406, I believe that "come sit with me" remark was originally credited to Alice Roosevelt Longworth back in 1966.

Re: One WHOLE day of Martha Stewart

I stand corrected, but I didn’t say that was where the quote originated. It was just a great line in a great movie.
