anyway,  I am looking for a brown suede boot, motorcycle style, but it has to be a wide calf!! but i would also consider a mid calf boot too. have several pair of short boots from clarks that i love. I recently lost weight and had to buy a lot of new clothes, (YEAH), so i think i can find a decent suede boot, now that my calves are a bit smaller.
unfortunately, i will only get to wear them about 3 months, living in the desert SW, our cooler weather doesn't start til november and lasts thru mid march.

That is a tough combination.  Frye makes a leather one, but in a quick search I didn't see any suede ones that are brown, wide calf, and moto.

Catlover, you might have better luck with a smooth and suede combo moto bootie.

I intended to buy a few new Whisper Knit swing cardigans and matching tanks.  They arrived, I sent them back immediately.  So I am happy with my sole purchase:  the LInea turtleneck in olive (A259110).  I don't see myself buying anything else this season.

This one doesn't have suede.  It's by Gabriella Rocha - wide calf harness/ engineer boot.  I tend to find more moto looking boots when I look for harness boots and engineer boots.

I'm really weak. After buying my nice new boots, I've been looking at this as another option for an outfit with them. I have several black leather skirts, but this has interesting embroidery and double side slits. I think it would look good.

It's not often that you see a leather skirt with tasteful, well done embroidery.  Honestly, you take such good care of your leathers and wear them well - go for it.
