I'm sure you are being sarcastic, but it is NOT necessary for my grands to see full cheeks.

Young children are impressionable.  My granddaughter does not need to be 'exposed' and think it is proper to show your behind to the whole world.

Young girls are bombarded with so much these day that is not healthy for them.

My grandson doesn't need to see so much more of a woman's anatomy at 4 years old.

Oh my goodness! Then hide your grand children and don't watch! Millions of people around the world don't agree.

I have read that some countries will be sporting unitards in the women's gymnastic competitions this year.

Not to be an old fuddy duddy....but I was shocked at the swimsuits worn last night at the Olympic Trials, especially noting the Sync. Diving.

Every single girl had her entire backside showing.  I don't need to see cheeks on such young girls!

Very inappropriate IMHO.  I wouldn't be watching w/ my 8 yo granddaughter.

All suits were US Diving Team and the same style, so it seems they were issued to them.

There may be a 'design' element to this that somehow will claim it 'helps' their performance....but I always viewed the Olympics as sort of a family event.

(No, I don't care for the skimpy sand Volleyball outfits either)

Just my opinion.

I wonder if it has to do with aerodynamics.

@RespectLife @Everybody has cheeks. The sexualization of "cheeks" is on you and your family.

I don't like them.  Old fashioned and dated.  They also look heavy for summer wear.

Well, I went to rl website…. I put a few items in my cart! I know they “usually “ have a sale in July so I will wait…I need a few new things so I’ll be patient. Since they are more for colder weather I can be patient!

The Ralph Lauren designed uniforms for the 2012 summer Olympics USA team were made in China. It caused quite an uproar when this news was released.

Re: Olympics--Thank Goodness for Ralph Lauren!

My DH mentioned the gymnastics team outfits (or whatever they're called).

Too revealing, especially at the buttom area.

I had been thinking the same, but didn't mention it.

I did previously mention the see-through chest area in the womens swimming competition.

I don't know what it's called.......they swim back and forth, back and forth in individual lanes.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Olympics--Thank Goodness for Ralph Lauren!

I really like the super glamorous look of the women gymnasts'  uniforms for the upcoming Olympics.  These leotards were designed by GK Elite, leaning into the Paris nightlife look.  Ranging in price from $3K to 5K.
