There's something about it that's appealing. Maybe a throw or quilt would work better for me personally.

Well, at least it has a hood and those spiffy toggle closures.  That makes it all better, doesn't it?

 

It looks like the mackinaw designer from LLBean got fired, went out and indulged in a few "neighborhood vendor" pharmceuticals, and designed a jacket.
