I can't imagine that the pretty red headed model would really wear that poncho she belted in " layering 101" .  The poncho alone was ok without belt (still not my style).

I agree completely.  Bet the model really doesn't like the look.  I don't get the belt at all.

That belt is in the oddest place!  I feel sorry to her to have that particular picture posted.  She deserves better.

I don't think I'd put a horizontal line there.  The verticals would have been good on the model.

She is pretty and looks stylish, but the belt just seems to bulk up the look. It would probably look less bulky on a very slim person. I wouldn't wear it because my menopausal waistline has shifted to under my boobs, but wouldn't think twice if I saw someone in this outfit.

I guess they ran out of the infamous “obi belt.” That would have been even worse!  

ETA: I just checked. They DID run out of the obi belt!

I agree that it looks bad!  I also noticed it right away.  It's too bad since she's an attractive woman and the poncho (which really isn't my style) is okay with the vertical stripes....the belt is awful!
