OMG Ortho shoes seem to be on EVERY day! - Page 3

Like them or not they must be selling like hotcakes to get the amount of on air time given to the brand. QVC doesn't over expose these brands by accident. The units sold numbers is the only thing they look at when planning the number of dedicated to the brand hours and appearances within other shows. My hunch is they are selling tens of thousands pairs of Orthaheels per month.

Agree! I am really really really sick of seeing that line-up-the-leg demonstration! And the vendor's voice and accent are annoying to me. So --------I turn it off and don't watch!

Why does QVC do that? Why? Why? I agree with you ladies! I just threw a fit on another post about those shoes.

Someone said the Ortho guy was so cute. He is cute; although he isn't my type, he's cute. HOWEVER!!!

My teeth start chattering and my head starts rolling around the minute I hear his voice because that means we are going to see those shoes every few minutes all day long.

When I say ALL DAY LONG I mean all day long! I am so sick of seeing those lines he's drawn and looking at those shoes.

QVC doesn't offer a variety as it is, but pretty soon there will only be ORTHO and RYKA and Clarks.

Now the Clarks are getting shut out.

I love Birkenstock shoes (bad back, I mostly wear them. I counted a few years back and I have over 100 pairs of Birkenstock). Where was I......

OK, I'm back. I just received an EMAIL last week that the presentation for Birkenstock I'd asked to be notified when it was going to be on......(you guessed it).....is CANCELED!

Yep! Birkenstock is canceled according to my email. I'm sure it was replaced by Orthsomethingorother (YES! I meant to run it together because that's how their presentations go).

Please, please QVC. Give us a break. I would bet my last jelly donut that the Ortho guy bought a house in Pennsylvania because he now spends most of his time in front of the TV cameras there in Pennsylvania.

I'll go sit down for a minute...I'm tired already from my rant!

I've gone back to watching HSN way, way more than QVC.

QVC is soooooo boring. Ortho adds to that boring........

The Earth Sandals TSV were hideous and so were the Vionics TSV. Another sensible, comfort shoe TSV.

I have found great-feeling sandals made by Cobb Hill (New Balance). Today's deal at Joes NB outlet website they are 90% off; just ordered a pair for $19.99! They are a brown wedge leather slide. I order all DH's sneakers from this site.

It is not only spring..that man has been on regularly

since fall 2013..and he draws that lame sketch on a leg..I change

the channel and wouldn't buy them at all.

I just can't watch the presentations. Seeing him drawing on the foot just creeps me out for some reason.

I am a Birkenstock girl (actually I prefer Birkis and Papillios), so I am used to wearing sandals that most of the world considers ugly. However, in my mind, the Birkis (and Papillios and Birkenstocks) have a quality construction that is somewhat labor intensive. The Vionics have a rubber footbed that I assume was poured into a mold of some sort. The color wore off the footbed of the one pair that I do own. I would never buy them again as I don't find them comfortable and I don't think they're worth the money.

Note to the ladies who miss the Birkenstock line. QVC was never the place to buy them, as their prices were high. You can get better deals on Amazon, eBay, Birkenstock Central, 6pm, etc. It was fun to watch to see what was new, but always better to buy them elsewhere.

Enjoy the Vionics if they're your thing, they just didn't work for me.
