Love to see a friend for the day, walk around and go out to lunch; often we have salads.

We go to quaint resturants, Applebys for shrimp and spinach with hot bacon vinegarette or oriental chicken salad with honey in the dressing; TGI Fridays for Jack Daniel barbque salmon  and salad, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and Atlanta Bread with artisan salads and sour dough bread.

Where do you like to go and what's your favorite?

I go to different restaurants with different friends.  One friend likes red lobster, one likes a farm to table type restaurant, one likes pizza.  Usually we are all working and take a little longer lunch.

There are a few places we go ... if we are in the mood to go downtown Seattle .... we hit one of the many great places around Pike Place. Usually for a salad ... sometimes to this fun French place that makes a yummy sandwich w ham and lots of melted cheese .. and of course w a glass of wine. mm mm

Or if we want to stay closer to home, there is a garden shop (Swansons) that offers good food ... like quiche or sandwiches ... and decent espresso.

Basically I like to go places w my gal friends the DH doesn't much care for because he can't find a bunch of fried, heavy foods.

I don't do that so much as I used to, but I suggested the restaurant Piatti to several friends and they always wanted to go back whenever we decided to go somewhere the next time.  I'm in California, but I believe there is a Piatti in the Seattle area, too.

we go to our country club quite a bit.  they have excellent food.  another favorite is the elephant bar.  also very good.  we had a toby keith's that was good but they went of business.  and then lots of the restaurants already mentioned are good, too.

I generally don't do lunch with friends because I work.  I go home everyday for lunch, let my dog out and eat. We tend to do more things in the evening.

Rarely if ever do we go to chain restaurants.  There are some locally owned places and bistros that we go to and some places owned by famous chefs' that we try.

In the summer we love to eat outside on patios and decks.  Some evenings we meet for drinks only, some evenings drinks and appetizers and sometimes full meals.

We like smaller places where you can really talk and catch up and you don't feel like you are going to be kicked out because they need your table, so usually my two girlfriends and myself meet after the lunchtime crowd, like maybe 2-230pm, because most places aren't too busy around that time.This summer we have enjoyed a few restaurants on the lakefront here where we can sit outside and enjoy the scenery as well.!!!!!!

My favorite place is the Cheesecake Factory. I love their menu, but I could just go for their fabulous cheese cake. Lunch is great with girlfriends, but dinner is way different. An active bar, loud, noisy and interesting people.

Not  real big on the chain-type places for lunch with girlfriends.  Prefer one of our clubs, or more  electic spot on the water.  Always a great glass of wine or martini

These lunches can turn into several hours so anywhere we're not rushed!

You and I need to live closer to each other Fifi!  We'd be sharing some great vino!!
