I'm in Ventura Co. & it has really been pouring. I opened the front door just to watch... haven't had a downpour in probably 2 years.

I was in LA Feb 8 through Feb 11. They have a serious water shortage. Hotel provided bottled water for free in rooms for drinking in order to conserve water.

We've gotten over 3 inches of rain in the last 2 days and boy do we need it!! More on the way tomorrow.

The rain did make it to the desert, so I'm enjoying which will probably be the last cozy rainy night for a long time. Made tomato soup and cornbread, ha, ha and eating it in front of a fire. What a treat this evening is!

I know!! Beats paying 3.50 a bottle they charge for in room bottled water doesn't it?

I noticed that there was a thunderstorm rolling through L.A. when QVC was doing the red carpet show, you can hear the thunder in some of the online videoclips.
